Our Discovery Masterclass blends self-paced, e-learning along with bi-weekly live training sessions. You’ll gain access to some of our top virtual sales discovery training courses in our online e-learning platform, The Sales Bar. You’ll also meet bi-weekly with a Factor 8 sales advisor and other masterclass participants for customized training.

What’s included in the masterclass?

  • Access to 3 interactive online sales discovery training courses
  • Bi-weekly training workshops hosted by a Factor 8 Advisor to discuss skill application with your sales peers
  • Networking opportunity to meet other masterclass participants 
  • Tactical tips, templates, tools, cheat sheets, and implementation guides, that you can use and apply right away
  • Discovery Masterclass Certificate will be provided to everyone who successfully completes the training program (80% pass mark for online courses)

How does it work?

During the 6-week masterclass, you’ll complete 3 courses in a self-paced, interactive online environment. Plus, you’ll join 3 live group training sessions with an experienced sales leader and other masterclass participants. Your e-learning and live sessions will conclude after 4 weeks, but you will have an additional 2 weeks of access to your training materials in The Sales Bar.

What’s the time commitment?

Each of the 3 online courses takes about 1 hour to complete. The kick-off call and two live sessions are all 1 hour long. The online training can be completed after hours and our live training sessions are recorded for anyone who cannot attend during the day. 

Can I register multiple employees?

If uncovering needs are the “what,” customer value is the “how and why.” By understanding the six core business motivators and mapping them to your buyers, you’ll learn which levers to pull to differentiate, gain attention, and propose solutions that sell. We’ll craft questions that’ll help you learn What Customers Care About and teach how to connect on a value level with prospects to learn what’s most important to them – and exactly what they’ll need to close. 

Uncovering Sales Opportunities

Uncovering Sales Opportunities will get you asking more questions and help you avoid the “show up and throw up” pitching! You’ll come out asking at least five standard questions to uncover the need for your solution on every call. Lack of discovery is one of the most common sales sins, and it stops here. The e-learning teaches the concepts and custom live training helps create the right questions to get at the root of your sales opportunity.

Question Like a Pro

If what to ask is the science, how to ask is the art, and both new reps or those transitioning to virtual can come off like survey administrators. Even worse? Robots. In Question Like a Pro, we’ll go well beyond open and closed questions into techniques to turn scripts into conversations, follow-up questioning, empathetic questioning, strategic questioning, and more.
