#GirlsClub created the list of the “Top 25 Companies Where Women Want to Work” to recognize and celebrate the top companies that support their female employees in the workplace and who are leading the charge in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
150+ companies were nominated and 2400+ votes were cast!
Companies were nominated based on the following criteria:
- Offer flexible work schedules and work-life balance
- Have great paid maternity leave benefits and support for working mothers
- Offer ongoing professional development training
- Have an executive team that’s intentional about increasing female leadership
- Are focused on hiring more women and advancing them into leadership roles
- Promote equal pay for women and equality in the workplace
- Are leading the charge on their diversity and inclusion efforts
“It is imperative for organizations to understand the importance of diversity. For a technology company to have such emphasis years ago, with 50% of the staff being female, it really let me know that I can grow and thrive here. KnowBe4 also gave me the opportunity to mentor and support women by being on the board for the Women in Technology employee resource group. We all are behind a common goal of empowering women by encouraging creativity, fostering growth, and providing resources for professional development. It has been my mission to take what KnowBe4 instilled in me by working with women to move up into leadership positions. The pattern is then continued by these women empowering other women which grows the overall diversity in leadership in the organization.”
